Seasonal Tree Care
The Homeowner’s Guide to Fall Tree Health Care in Northern Virginia
Fall has a way of making us notice our trees again. Maples flash red and orange, leaves scatter across the lawn, and that oak outside
Keeping your trees vibrant and safe involves more than just occasional pruning — it requires a comprehensive approach that addresses every aspect of their biology, structure, and long-term health. That’s exactly what you get when you rely on the professionals at RTEC Treecare.
Unlike some other tree companies in the Falls Church area that provide only basic services, our team of tree-care experts is guided by a holistic philosophy, ensuring your trees — from roots to trunk to twigs — get the support they need to remain safe, healthy, and beautiful for years.
Anyone can buy a couple of chainsaws and start hacking away at trees or offering advice. But providing comprehensive, science-backed tree care requires a combination of education, experience, and expertise — not to mention professional equipment — that many companies simply don’t have.
That’s not a problem for homeowners and property managers in Falls Church; RTEC Treecare has been providing award-winning tree-care services across the Metro DC area for more than 30 years. We not only understand how to care for trees but also the unique environmental conditions that influence tree health in the Mid-Atlantic region.
Contact us today to get the caliber of tree-care service you deserve.

Given the value your trees provide and the safety risks they may present, you simply can’t take chances when selecting a tree-care partner. Fortunately, when you rely on the professionals at RTEC Treecare, you don’t have to. We have all of the characteristics to distinguish us from the crowd and give you the confidence you deserve.
RTEC Treecare was the first tree company in Virginia to earn Tree Care Industry Association (TCIA) accreditation, and our team includes several arborists who’ve been certified by the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA).
Safety is always our highest priority, and we always ensure that everyone on the job site — from our crew to our clients to bystanders — remains safe throughout the process. If a job can’t be completed safely, we won’t even start.
When not carried out in a careful, methodical manner, tree care work can damage homes, landscapes, and hardscapes. But our team uses high-strength ropes, piece-by-piece removal techniques, and cranes to protect your property.
From bucket trucks, skid steers, and aerial lifts to chainsaws, air spades, and chippers, our crews are outfitted with the kind of professional-caliber equipment needed to handle any and every job that comes our way.
Over the course of our 30-year history, we’ve not only learned about the trees common to Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, DC, but also the environmental challenges, pests, and diseases that often affect them.
From the moment we receive your initial inquiry until we’ve swept up the last bit of sawdust, the RTEC Treecare team always communicates clearly. You’ll never have trouble reaching us, nor be left in the dark about your project.
Unlike some low-quality tree-service providers who try to skirt around local rules and regulations, the RTEC Treecare team maintains all required licenses and comprehensive insurance coverage to ensure you’re protected.
Trees don’t exist in a vacuum. They’re shaped by everything around them — from the soil beneath their roots to the insects visiting their fruit and flowers. That interconnected reality is exactly why choosing an environmentally responsible tree-care team matters.
That same perspective guides our work. We provide eco-friendly solutions that support long-term tree health while protecting the surrounding landscape. From organic biostimulant applications and soil-nurturing mulch to health-focused pruning techniques, our work is designed to strengthen trees naturally and responsibly.
RTEC Treecare not only provides a comprehensive assortment of tree-care services, but we also serve a wide variety of clients. From residential homeowners to commercial property managers to government agencies, we can provide the kind of award-winning tree care services you need.
