FAQs: Choosing a tree care company is a major decision. Our clients typically select us because of the high quality of the services we provide, our commitment to leaving the property better than we found it, and the expertise and responsiveness of our team.

As you search for a provider who fits your property’s needs, please see below for the answers to some FAQs we often get from other tree lovers like you!

Are you committed to providing the best care for your trees and shrubs? That calls for a certified arborist.

FAQs: In the tree care industry, that calls for certified arborists. These specialists are trained in the latest technology and safest practices. Through rigorous certification exams and years of experience, they have achieved the highest industry standards. They maintain their certification with ongoing education and must adhere to the ISA Code of Ethics.

These professionals improve the health and beauty of trees through safe tree pruning,  removal (when necessary); installing cabling and bracing; diagnosing and treating common plant diseases or insects; or other tree care.

FAQs: Hiring A certified arborist ensures the highest quality care for your plants. Their solutions are backed by science, experience, and standards set forth by the industry. Don’t put your property and plants at risk! A non-certified arborist might be cheaper, but may not be licensed, insured, or properly equipped for the job; their work may not be guaranteed.

No, you don’t need to be home to supervise our work. We create a specific, detailed work order for our crews that includes the agreed-upon services and their job specifications, along with a detailed map of your property. Our crews are skilled at implementing these work orders. All work is performed under the direction of highly trained foremen, managers, and certified arborists so you can rest assured that your property is in good hands.

RTEC may dispatch different crews to your site, depending on the services you’ve contracted for. For example, the general tree work crew will perform the tree removal and pruning services. If there is stump grinding, another crew will be dispatched to perform that work after Miss Utility has cleared the property for grinding. All Plant Health Care services will be performed by a licensed Plant Health Care technician, often separately, based on the scope of the work. You may receive multiple invoices depending on the services performed.

Oftentimes our crew leaves the site so clean that clients can’t tell we’ve been there. For plant health care services, we will provide  photos along with a digital service report to show what work was done. Clean-up after general tree work may include chipping up debris and removing it from your property, hauling off and disposing of large wood (if contracted, handled by a different crew), blowing the work area off with the leaf blower, raking, and more. Our commitment is to leave every property better than we found it.

We guarantee all work will be done in a professional and skillful manner to the specifications in the contract. Our work will meet or exceed standards set by the American National Institute (ANSI) and the Tree Care Industry Association (TCIA). Furthermore, we honor our commitments to you. Our promise to you is that if we ever fall short of our commitments, we will make it right.
